(Teaching Vietnamese for Foreigners)
1. Introduction
Hanoi University of Industry has a 121-year history (1898-2019) of building, growing and developing, being a public university providing high quality educational, scientific and technological services, being a convenient learning environment for everyone. Hanoi University of Industry has been training hundreds of thousands of masters, engineers and bachelors to meet the requirements of the labor market, and being highly appreciated by society. The university has been awarded the noble titles: "Labor Hero of the innovation period", "Ho Chi Minh Medal", "First-class Labor Medal", "Friendship Medal of Lao People's Democratic Republic". "..etc. Every year, Hanoi University of Industry provides thousands of scholarships to encourage learning and support disadvantaged students with the amount of VND 9 to 10 billion and sends students who receive scholarships to study abroad. More than 4,000 students has been settled to study, intern and work in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, China.
Infrastructure: Land area: 47,33 ha; 369 theoretical classrooms with total area of 70,576 m2; 55 computer rooms with total area of 6074 m2; 50 foreign languages classrooms with total area of 3,321 m2; 17 study center / library rooms with total area of 14,695 m2; 25 laboratories with total area of 3,586 m2, 151 practical laboratories with total area of 22,564 m2; 790 dorm rooms with total area of 56,032 m2; 01 versatile training center with an area of 2,100 m2; 01 tennis court; 01 stadium with an area of 10,990 m2.
Teaching staff: 1,111 Lecturers (Including 231 Associate professors, Doctors; 766 Masters)
