In the official visit to Guilin University of Technology in April 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Hong Quan, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Council of HaUI, exchanged views on the future directions for long-term cooperation plans for Marketing programs. Several international cooperation programs have been implemented, yielding positive results in student exchanges, Chinese language training, and the 2+2 collaborative training program in Business Administration (with the participartion of nearly 50 students).

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc acknowledged the excellent results achieved in the collaborative relationship between the two institutions. Based on the success of the 2+2 collaborative training program, Dr. Kieu Xuan Thuc expressed the desire for both parties to continue developing 3+1 collaborative training programs and expanding cooperation in various training fields and research.

The rector emphasized: Both universities share many similarities, such as offering diverse programs across multiple disciplines and levels, with a particular focus on technology and engineering. In recent years, Chinese businesses have begun to increase investments and expand production in Vietnam. This serves as a crucial foundation to promote collaboration between Hanoi University of Industry and Guilin University of Technology (China) in various fields, particularly in the realm of technology and engineering. Specifically, the two universities need to establish a 'University-University-Enterprise' tripartite partnership model. Collaboration with international educational institutions and businesses is a bridge to ensure and enhance the quality of student education during the period of international integration. Simultaneously, it is a method to gradually improve the quality of the workforce, step by step, to meet the demands of the labor market, both domestically and internationally.

Prof. WANG Dunqiu, Rector of Guilin University of Technology (China), mentioned that GUT currently has more than 45,000 students, including over 500 international students, predominantly from Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries. To date, GUT has welcomed over 7,000 international students participating in collaborative training programs and has established cooperative relationships with more than 100 educational institutions worldwide. This international learning environment aligns well with HaUI students. Leveraging the advantages of its geographical location and the effectiveness of collaborative training programs, including language support initiatives, Prof. WANG Dunqiu emphasized that this forms the foundation for both universities to strengthen and further expand their collaborative relationship across various fields in the future.

As part of the working session, the delegation visited and engaged in discussions with students from the first cohort of the 2+2 collaborative training program in Business Administration, specifically from the School of Business Management and the Department of Electronics.
