International cooperation projects and programs have been implemented:
International Training Programs
- Cooperate in training on-the-spot study at college level with Australian universities and colleges in two disciplines: Information Technology, Business Administration.

- Cooperate in training 2 + 2 university degrees with York St John University, United Kingdom in field of Business Management.
- Cooperate in training 2 + 2 university degrees with Hunan University, China in the field of Business Management and Information Technology.
- Cooperating in training international technicians and programmers with APTECH, India.
- Cooperation in training high-tech welding (3G, 6G) with BSE company of Hyundai Corporation, Korea and training Korean with Korean universities and businesses
- Cooperate in training technology for repairing car body and painting according to advanced technology with Toyota Vietnam.
- Cooperate in training precision mechanics and mold machining with Hong Hai Science and Technology Group, Taiwan.

- Cooperate with Korea - Vietnam Friendship Association to set up a Korean language training center at Hanoi University of Industry
- Cooperation and exchange of students with Guangxi University of Science and Technology and Guilin University of Electronics, China majoring in English and Chinese.
- Training cooperation with Vientiane - Hanoi, Laos Friendship College: Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, Business Administration, Banking and Finance.
- Cooperating with Department of Technical and Vocational Education, Ministry of Education and Sports, Lao PDR in training for Lao schools.

International Projects

- HIC-JICA Project phase 1 in the period of 2000-2005: Implemention the project to enhance the capacity of training technical vocational training workers at Hanoi Industrial College, which is now Hanoi University of Industry sponsored by the Japanese Government through JICA.
- HaUI-JICA Project phase 2, 2010-2013: Implementation of the Project for technical human resource development at Hanoi University of Industry sponsored by the Japanese Government through JICA.

- HaUI-JICA Project phase 3 in 2013-2017 period: Implementation of the Project to strengthen the capacity of training technical vocational teachers at Hanoi University of Industry sponsored by the Japanese Government through JICA .
- Cooperate with the University of Valencia (Spain), University of Groningen (Netherlands), Uppsala University (Sweden), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), within the framework of the EVENT Project of Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education - implement "Vietnam-EU cooperation project on employment for graduate students"

- Cooperating with University of Padova (Italy), University of Lisbon (Portugal), University of Slamanca (Spain) within the framework of the LAB-MOVIE Project of Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education - implementing the "Monitoring project capturing the labor market in Vietnamese universities".
